Discovering the Tao Te Ching

Regular meeting, 1.00 - 2.00 pm, 4 August 2021.

Featured Speaker:Jay Wison
Venue:Launceston Lodge Salvation Army Venue

Jay Wilson 4 August 1pm

About the Presentation

The Tao Te Ching has existed in written form for at least 1400 years. The wisdom of the Tao or ‘The Way’ has supported and inspired vast numbers of people since that time. Jay will facilitate this third group discussion focusing on one of the 81 chapters of the Tao.

Participants will each read from different translations and then compare and discuss the read passages. The contribution of each translation and each reader can richly enhance an understanding of this timeless work.

Regular Meetings

The Regular Meetings are for Launceston Lodge members, with interested members of the public welcome to attend up to 4 meetings, with the objective to explore and confirm an interest in becoming a member of the TS. If after attending 4 meetings the person does not become a member, they are requested to kindly restrict their visits to Public Meetings only.
